Insurance for car in us

Hey guys so I'm going to stay with a friend in Dallas and while I'm there, they are going to be working so I have the day to myself. They'be offered to let me use there car but I have a uk license and I'm 24.

I've tried to google us insurance but can't find the right information, does anybody know a company I can use or how I would go about getting insured for just 10-14 days in a us based car?

Policies in the U.S tend to cover any driver but you have to be careful of the amount of cover it provides for third party damage as it varies from state to state. The minimum amount of cover can be as low as $20k for personal injury (To other people) and $10k for damage to other people's property
