Could someone please tell me if this mp3 player is suitable is jog proof? I'm looking for something to go running with. I have an SD card but would this get damaged if it gets jolted about too much? A friend suggested a USB flash type player might be best for me but can't seem to find any as cheap as this.
No reliance should be placed on the above.
  • Does anybody know what the dimensions of this player are?

Yes but you have to inform them, and tell them to arrange a time to collect it at your convience within six months, otherwise you will treated it as a gift. I think you can leave yourself open to being charged for the product, and possibly legal action if you don't tell them and they find out.

Is there a product web site, model number or reviews of this player?

From what I can tell it is a good basic player, (no random or shuffle) and the batteries & memory are cheap.

One reviewer said there is a voice record feature and a built in Mic. but this might be another model?

    What connectors does it have?

Really? That's interesting. Anyway, as for teh joggins and stuff I've been skipping with mine (training) but today the the bit of string that kinda hooks it up so you can wear it around your kneck broke. I'd say leave the jogging and crap out!
if i had known then what i know now
  • Theres a lock thing on it that locks all the keys to avoid pushing anything by accident when excersising etc.
By the way, for anyone wanting to buy this, i now have one from 7dayshop, and one from mymemory. IMHO, the 7dayshop one looks much nicer, a whole mirrored front as opposed to mymemory who have removed the bottom bit of mirror and inserted one of their own with "mymemory" written on a dull silver background.

Flash memory is very tough, Compact flash is the toughest, used in industrial applications. SD is quite tough. The flash memory inside is the same so it is the plastic packaging that breaks. Fine for jogging etc no moving parts.

I bought one of these when mymemory first sold them and they are dinky little things and nice quality from what I have heard of it. The best thing was that the memory is expandable up to 2gb - not a lot of other players can do that yet, its small and light and does me fine :D
