MyMemory SD MP3 Player bundle for £17.99

Hi,

Has anyone bought and recommend the MyMemory SD MP3 Player with 128Mb SD Memory Card bundle from mymemory.co.uk?.

They're basically offering a Micro MP3 Player in an aluminium case and a 128Mb SD Memory Card for £17.99 which sounds good imho.

Is this too good to be true or another good buy from mymemory.co.uk? who appear to be very competitive on their products, particularly 512Mb SD Memory Cards (Kingston 512Mb SD Card for £17.99).

Best Regards.

I was going to buy this player but then i changed my mind and bought the 17.99 one instead as it supported a higher bit rate. Since then though I have seen somewhere else that this 12.99 player supports up to 256 and not just up to 196 as this site says. Still it's really cool.

Got the 512 card but for some reason a couple of days later i got a mail through thanking me for my order of another card. Then I got a mail saying it's been sent out and on Tuesday..... IT WAS HERE!!!!

TWO 512SD cards for the price of one!

Haven't tried to use them though.

I bought the same player and 512mb card from 7dayshop and its great.....even the earphones supplied are ok, no background hiss at all.

I have since ordered another one from my memory for my daughter who was well impressed with mine.

I would say, a stonking bargain

Macktv, I hope you phoned up the retailer to make them aware of their error. IMHO to do otherwise may put you on the wrong side of the law, but a nice retailer may let you keep a low value item anyway for your honesty (and the amount it would cost them to bring it back in to stock)!

RufusA, absolutely right - I can see the SWAT team breaking down Macktv's door now. Imagine if he were so normal as to not bother, jeesh that really would be criminal - he could get 25yrs or the electric chair for that...

Cheers, I've just ordered one :-)

However I didn't realise they were located in the channel islands, and was hoping it might arrive before I go on holiday on saturday. It would have been pushing it for a mainland company, but from the channel islands... no chance! Oh well... Have to wait until I get home then!

    hmm

I have a v975 and I'm tempted to buy one of their transflash 256mb discs for £17.99. The bonus being I can use my mobile phone as an mp3 player instead of having to lug an extra device around.

Only worry is the v975 headphones aren't too good and I look like frankinstien wearing them.

Any ideas how I can change the headphones on my phone?

Not exactly right, unsolicited goods CAN be yours to keep if you follow the right steps, but these goods are NOT unsolicited just over supplied and could never fall into the category of unsolicited goods, that having been said I'd keep it too.

Nice to see my free stuff have caused such a debate! Well I actually might just call them up and see what they say. I mean I never actually intended to use it which is why i've left it unopened in it's original packaging. At the same time though I can't exactly see what I would've done wrong if I kept it.
