2 Years rule for employment rights. Very confusing

So far you haven't even found a solicitor who thinks you can claim though!
The union has it's solicitors, who can assess the case. The solicitors I was checking with were my house insurance legal advice line(who have just very recently moved from one legal firm to another, so I had advice from 2 different legal firms - previpous provider and the new one) I was only asking about 2 years rule and was not giving any other detalis about anything else whatoever. And you've already said that you would use the potential of a claim to force a settlement out of the employer. Things have changed a lot in the last couple of years, and this is not as easy as it once was.
I did not say I as definetly going to do this. In fact I will be following the advice of the union. However if I am above 2 years threshold and if the employer is aware of it, they are likely to be more keen to have a different outcome to the disciplinary meeting than their current goal to just sack me.0
