balance transfer to someone else

Hi

Don't know much about balance transfer cards and just wanted to ask if this is possible, can I settle somebody's else card balance using my credit card card.

    In most cases, yes, lenders will allow this.

    Obviously never where the cards are from the same stable though.

    Of course, you do understand that you are effectively borrowing the money and giving it to them. The debt becomes yours, not theirs.

    As above be careful the persons balance you transfer you can trust and you know they will get the money back and you don't end up out of pocket.

    it is much easier to do online as there is no one to ask 'is the card held in your name' - it just asks for the card number
