Can you haggle on a kitchen quotation ?

Basically, had a quote from a kitchen & bathroom company come through today and wondered if you can bring them down.
to supply and install PRIMA HENDON kitchen suite ( light oak)
to supply and install base and wall units
300 single base
600 single base
1000 corner base (500 door) (x2)
500 - 3 drawer pack
500 single base
400 single base
600 tall oven housing
600 single wall
400 single wall
500 single wall (x2)
600 L-shaped corner wall
800 double wall
box in boiler
to supply and install cornice, pelmet and plinth
to supply and install 40mm EVEREST CRYSTAL formica worktops with butt and scribe mitre joints
to supply and install a 60 cm PULSER chimney extractor (stainless steel)
to supply and install a 1.5 bowl sink and drainer (stainless steel)
to supply and install a swanhead mixer tap (chrome)
to refit oven and hob
to refit fridge, washing machine and dryer
to dispose of all rubbish and waste
all plumbing, joinery, electrics and labour
supplied and completed for £ 3,500
it's not a bad price TBH but it's just a little over what we can afford at the mo
now to me thats just a random figure plucked out of the air.
no tiling in quote as i said i would do it, could i maybe get that done for free if i buy the tiles, (wall&floor)
do you think they'll come down any ??
i'm really bad at haggleing what do i do ??

howdens £2400 supply only

Just tell them that they £1000 more than their competition and one of 3 things will happen
1. They will refuse to budge
2. They will start discounting
3. They will knock £1000 off
If 1 or 3, walk away.0 -
B&Q wanted about double again to fit theirs.
Howdens, i would need to arrange all other trades
not to sure on how to aproach it0 -
just ask them, if they will give you a discount if you purchase today - they will either say no or yes remember they want the sale! if you dont ask you dont get - good luck0
