The elderberries here have been and gone, they seemed to be a bit early this year.

  • Sorry if it's a daft question, but then what do you actually do with the syrup? Do you dilute it like squash or just have some every day? I had heard about a link with rheumatoid arthritis and, as I have RA - and there are loads of rosehips near us - I'm keen to give it a go.

Has anyone tried the wine? Is that also good for RA? If not, but it's tasty nonetheless I might give it a go!
  • thanyou Suzybloo... going to give this a go!

Kitcat80, you can take a couple of spoonfuls everyday like you would a vitamin supplement (thats what we do) or if you have a sore throat /irritating cough a couple tablespoonfuls in hot water to make a soothing drink, or use it as a topping for pancakes/waffles etc. someone at work uses it as a salad dressing too!
    hope that helps :-)
