CCJ Satisfied ...Car Finance ?

Hi Guys,

I'm potentially looking to go for a new car and i currently have a satisfied CCJ.
(Aprox 2 years left till cleared)
I also have credit card no overdrafts and a overall good credit rating.
Would i be likely to be accepted for finance at a main dealer ?
I was wondering if any one might have had a similar circumstance and was accepted for finance ?
I just don't want to apply then be rejected for finance the effect my credit in the future.

    Hi,

Its impossible to say to be honest.

Some lenders accept satisfied CCJ`s, others dont.

The further back in time it is, the less effect it will have on you, is the guiding principle here, but often a CCJ, settled or not, is taken as a warning indicator by lenders.

Main dealers credit suppliers usually have the highest acceptance criteria, maybe if you search for your finance beforehand, online, that might be a better option.
