PCN whilst working

Hi all
I've had a good read of the forum and have gained some valuable insights (thanks!). Without going too far back I haven't as yet come across a case similar to mine, here's a brief overview.
Basically I was issued a PCN whilst working; I pulled up at a residents home, unloaded heavy goods, gained entry to the flats (buzzed in by resident), walked to the flat put down my stuff, got the visitors parking pass from the resident and retuned to my car with the pass in hand to find an attendant taking photographs of my car as the pass wasn't present. All of this happened within the space of 2-3 minutes.
I have appealed to the company with no joy (shock). What I'm wanting to know is if you guys (experts!) think I stand a good chance of taking the appeal further because I believe so, I hand on heart will never pay these cowboys a penny! I was not given enough time to obtain the visitors pass, I've tried to find out if there is a buffering period i.e. of how many minutes you can leave your car to get a visitors pass without getting a charge notice again with no joy so if anybody can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

The occupant will almost certainly have an absolute right of way to access to their property over communal land. This will also apply to tradesmen in their employ delivering materiel.
Contact the occupant and ask them for a copy of their lease/AST guaranteeing that right, then appeal or tell the PPC to go forth and multiply.
Who is the PPC?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Take it up with the Residents Home management. They employed the PPC they can cancel it. Don't take any s**t from them. Be polite, but persistent and awkward.0
