Will paying my O2 bill on my credit card affect my credit score?

I know the number doesn't mean anything, but I recently started an O2 contract and this is my first contract. But I've made my second payment now on my Barclaycard Freedom rewards card just to contribute to my points really.

But I've been wondering if this is a bad thing to do, paying credit as such with credit?

This will not affect your credit rating or score in any way whatsoever.

If you pay your bills on time, the lender will mark your file "paid on time" a nice little green tick.
There is no facility to record the method by which payment was made.

You said it yourself, the CRA may see this as detrimental to your so called credit score, and mark it accordingly, but what CRA`s think matters not a jot, its how lenders view you that matters.

Thanks a lot! :) I just wanted to make sure. I've heard that doing certain things with credit cards like withdrawing cash can go on your record as it could suggest you're financially unstable, so I just wondered if it may be the same with paying credit with credit :rotfl:
