Hi all,
Has anyone had any recent experience with Sofology sofas? We're moving soon, so browsing around the different shops, and there's one in Sofology which has made our top-5, but they seem ridiculously difficult to find reviews of (most bits are about the staff, not the sofas!).
(I've found old horror stories from before they were rebranded! Are these still true?)
Or, failing that, does anyone have any top tips for sofa-buying near(ish) to West London. We're after a fabric three-seater, so advice of who to look at/avoid gratefully received. (We're avoiding DFS, after everything on here!!)
Thanks all!

What is your budget?
Spend as much as you can as cheap sofas will not last and you will end up buying twice.
Five years ago we bought a 3 seater and a 2 seater sofa from an independent store. The sofas were made by Alstons.
They were about £1,600 in total so maybe circa £900 for the 3 seater.
We are very pleased with them.
I suggest that you visit a few well established independent stores as well as chains such as John Lewis, M&S etc.
You are right to avoid DFS and similar places.0 -
Haven't used them but can recommend Sofa.com. It's best if you can get to one of their showrooms and have a look in person. There's no pressure from any salespeople, you can just take your time. We bought an Isla three seater and love seat.0
