Thunderbird Filters Question

Hey guys.
Does anyone know if it's possible to select multiple messages in Thunderbird and then create a filter from all of those messages? I get alot of newsletters (ones I am interested in) so I'd like to set up a filter to send them all to a separate folder, but Thunderbird only gives me the option to add the first one. I want to create a filter from all of the domains at the same time but I haven't found a way. I know I can manually type in each email address into the filter options but it's so tedious this way!
Is there an addon which can do this?
Thank you.

Are they all going to one address eg LadyM... @ wherever
so then set up a filter for the inbox for that and select match any of the following, then add where From contains Newslettersource1(or subject contains Newsletter...etc.) Then perform these actions... move(or copy) to wherever you want them, and keep adding as you go and save the rule as Newsletters(say). You only then have to enter the source/subject once
Don't think there is an add-on for using select , however you can manually select them and then copy them in bulk, still tedious though.
