Had enough my with landlord

Sorry its a new thread but was discussed before about reporting him to PRHP, I feel angry enough at him that I want to be assertive down phone tomorrow at his agents (he owns the properties and the agency even lists it as "family run" but has non family members as staff)
Main reasons being its been a month since I last reported no communal lights so I need to carry torch, I reported it multiple times in past and was promised a repair but most recent was "its up to landlord" so he expects me to carry a torch at all times to enter and leave building.
My bathroom floor has cracked wood in it which I assume was down to when ceiling collapsed, he has not bothered to send anyone out.
My hallway floorboard has itself now cracked and wobbly (imagine a see saw feeling)
And had water pouring down walls on Friday from upstairs, I am not sure exactly what as it was above bath and maybe it was overflowed as it stopped within a few minutes and dried up within a hour or two but I just had a new ceiling installed, he isn't that bothered about it.
He still hasn't sent anyone round to inspect the damage from the flood or the repair that occured 2 months ago.
On a seperate note I have been getting harassed by one of his other tenants since I moved here (and doing some digging the tenant gets a lot of complaints for abuse) LL outright didnt care and just told me to report it to EH even though I told him I was getting threats of violence from this tenant.
And before anyone mentions it, yes moving is on the cards now just waiting as had both a local HA and council pretty much confirm they have a property for me just haven't got points sorted yet so don't want to move and lose points.
So shall I be assertive with LL tomorrow (as well as reporting to PRHP) or just to to PRHP direct? I was thinking I don't want to be seen as a soft touch by the landlord hence being assertive.
A side thing here as well which I am worried about, I paid 2 months rent in advance when I moved in and get full rent paid by lha and direct to LL meaning the last 2 payments should come to me but I can't change it myself so LL may either keep it and I have to take him to court or make excuses about return, theres no deposit on this flat.

As you are in Scotland you have more rights
Call your local council private sector team
Also- has your landlord provided and had installed the correct mains interlinked smoke and heat alarms
Is your deposit protected?
Your landlord has a duty of care to deal with the other tenants, call your local council on this
He MUST also have an electrical check (satisfactory) from a suitably qualified contractor, you should have been provided with an electrical certificate.

So move. Simple.0

Write (yes, write -keep copy) to landlord about all matters. If not sorted then go to PRHP. (Consider, how would you feel if landlord went straight to PRHP about you without having tried to sort it with you 1st)

Marksoton.., your advice can be so constructive at times, but at others its like you've take a gremlin pill lol.
The OP has already explained why moving is difficult.
I would advise the OP to check with Shelter the situation with the 'two months rent in advance' and whether it is still a deposit. It may be.
How long will you have to wait for social housing - normally they either have a property or they don't?0 -

The council told me they had multiple properties "coming up" but they were all high rise and was I ok with that, and an advisor said as the high rise are in low demand (due to people turning them down or access/disabled facilities) then I won't need the normal points
One out of about 10 local HA's I applied to told me they have zero properties but as I live on the estate they are based and my issues means with them personally I am priority over someone from further afield and would get enough points to qualify even if I hand in notice (but may not have a property in time)
I applied for like 50 different areas over the region so been told also it will be sooner rather than later.
About notice/moving for one obviously right now with christmas coming up it will be harder unless I have a guaranteed property and even then prices are higher for private at the moment, so at most i'd rather wait even a week so that means worst comes to worst handing in notice it means it will be a few weeks into January I have to move rather than Christmas/New Year.0 -
I did try and phone today but was too timid to try and intimidate, landlord/agent outright told me the floorboards issue isn't a priority as its no danger, I wonder if the EH speaking to them a few weeks ago has made them angry at me.
In the meantime spoke to the HA on my estate who told me I am priority, they have given me 80 points so far and told me they have a property they want to give me (at least unofficially) I hope I didn't sound ungrateful to the person as it was 1 bedroom as thinking back I think I did sound a bit not interested, but its a house under 10 years old so I will love to get it, but doubt I will.
But they told me same thing as before, if I hand in my notice I will get an automatic 80 points which would make me qualify.
So im back to risking handing in notice and getting nowhere, or if it falls through it may look bad to council and other HA's that I handed in notice.0
