Was in the process of applying for a mortgage and found my wife had 5 missed payments (no default) from id mobile which the account was closed in feb the charge came on in may. Spoke with id mobile and they admitted its there fault and closed the account. We are now tryinh to get it removed from her account. Id have said they will but it seems there not done anything but close the account. We have msg equifax but not sure how long it takes and if the score will go back to it was. Experian says it went down 627 points this month alone.

Chase them to remove the defaults.
Ignore your score. It can go up by a million points and still no one will see it or care.
You just want the information to be accurate.0 -
Hi,
Credit score means nothing, it's the biggest lie perpetrated by all the CRA's.
Its credit history that counts, not a fictitious number no lender ever sees.
Remember, it can take a month or two to update with certain CRA's.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. What about false financial associations, false linked addresses, other people's defaults registered against someone else, malicious late payments and other marks registered by energy and mobile phone providers, electronic guessing to link accounts to residents - these are the REAL lies perpetrated by the CRAs.0 -
I know the score isnt seen but the score is a representation of your history still. So may take a month or 2 then.0
