Car hire in Spain without fuel charge rip off?

Are there any car hire cos in Spain who do not charge a rip off price for tank of fuel and instead allow you to return car with same fuel as when you take car?

Have previously been ripped off in Portugal for 45E cost of tank of fuel non refundable. Additional cost on top of car hire cost.

Try Record Rent a Car, in Majorca, you leave the car with the same fuel as you started, may be the same on mainland Spain.

I think if you register for their club, you get a 5 euro discount, then if you use them for other car hire you earn points (1 point = 1 eur) you can use the points you earn up to 10% of the cost.
  • Hi - we used www.Carjet.co.uk when we were in Spain this year. I'd got the recommendation off here. They act as a broker for the agents and I have to say we found them great. The price was great, there was minimal hassle, they have a full - full tank policy. I would definately use them again.

  • I used Eurocar last month in South Spain and there was no fuel surcharge.

The car was full when I picked it up and had to be full when I returned it but was free to fill it up wherever I wanted.
