Hi all
Today I have (unknowingly) clicked or altered something as the spellchecker function which previously underlined in red my (numerous) typos has disappeared
how do i get it back please ?

Hi,
hit the 'Tools' button or
then choose 'Options' > 'Advanced' > 'General' and make sure 'Check my spelling as I type' is ticked.
Edit: Another little tip, when replying to a message, right click in box > Languages, make sure English is selected, there is also an option to add a dictionary.0 -

given how well buried the tick box was I have no idea how it got switched off.0
