Car makes hissing/rattling noise when gas pedal pressed- where to get free diagnosis?

Can't hear any difference, but it looks like that big silver heatshield is moving around, could buzz if it is loose.
The rod is the wastegate actuator linkage.

I'd be inclined to let it cool down and investigate if anything is loose or rattly around or under that silver plate.

Thank you all. I think I've come to the conclusion that it's the waste gate actuator that is loose. I came across the following video that shows how to fix it.

Not sure if I trust myself though so might take it round to a mechanic next week.
