You offered on a house before you put your own on the market?

If so, do the vendors know this?

I woudn't accept an offer from you if you did not have your house 'sold'

You said you put an offer in on the house..... what was the outcome? Did they not tell you if it was acceptable or not?

It is highly unlikely your offer will be accepted as they will not be able to proceed with the sale as you are not ready to do so.

You said you want the house, well if so your best bet is to quickly get yours sold!

    Good luck.

We only wish to sell our property if we are successful in getting a certain other property. As we have put in an offer, we put our house up for sale to show our seriousness / get the ball moving etc.

We now understand from the agents that someone else is interested in said property. Would you halt everything to do with the sale of your house until you know whether your offers been accepted or not?

So hard to know what to do for the best. We are yet to return our contract but it does state the 14 day cooling off period, albeit you pay for what work they've done - so any viewings in the meantime etc will cost us £££.

Talk about :bdaycake: and trying to eat it......
  • You are not classed as a serious buyer unless you have funds. I put my house on the market and it took almost 2 years to sell.

Not saying that yours would be the same, but these things take time...especially just before Christmas.
