At the bottom of the sponsored links on google is a "More sponsored links" link. This is the actual link from Google :

    http://www.google.co.uk/sponsoredlinks?q=photo+calendars&hl=en&rls=RNWE,RNWE:2004-24,RNWE:en&um=1&ie=UTF-8

Anyway, on the next page you get a list of links, including VistaPrint. Again this is the link from Google :

You'll need to make sure you have "Cookies enabled" to get the offer price of £1.99...

  • We got a flyer for vista with some cds from CDWOW and it was for a free address stamp gadget, just had to pay p&p or something.

Anyway, somehow they started taking money from our credit card which had been used to make the payment. They took three or four amounts at regular intervals. It was a good job we always check our statements fully, and we contacted the credit card company. The debits were not shown as vista but a holding company called vprewards or clubprem. The card issuer told us they have had loads of complaints about this and that it is linked to vista. They immediately refunded our money. They also monitored our account for a couple of months to prevent any more unauthorised withdrawals.

If you have made any kind of payment to vista please check your accounts carefully and take this into account when considering dealing with them.

  • I have ordered some photo calendars from them in the past ( plus other stuff too) and they are very good quality, people who have seen them have been very impressed, it is great that you can put your own birtdays etc in on the corresponding days and also you can start the calendar from whatever month you want. I usually use the slow shipping ( cheapest) and the items have always come before that.

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

  • I have also been able to get the £1.99 to come up now (after googling as a previous poster suggested) and have got one almost finished (It lets you save it to make changes later)

Thanks for this, will be a lovely gift for my Mum and Dad...

Postage and vat are not included, and pretty pricey.

I ordered half a dozen today and it was a real faff. the discount price disappeared whilst I was paying and getting it back proved very difficult.

There is a knack to using Vistaprint. If you get a link to a special offer then make sure you save or bookmark it. If you re-visit the site later you may find that the price alters and you end up paying full price. Always go back using the saved link.

One of my top tips is to use the American version of the site, NOT the UK one. Lots more offers from there once you become a customer. I've been with them for many years, and have had hundreds of (dollars) pounds worth of goodies. I detailed my recent order in a post on another thread earlier, but full price would have been close to $200 and I spent all of $23 (£12) for a box full of printed items.

Here's a link to the calendar offer on the US site:
    http://e.vistaprint.com/a/tBG86fKAZdBOABafkLoAaTWd$ae/vph4
(working at time of posting, I checked!)

It comes up as $3.49 against the usual price of $6.99. This link also gives you 10 FREE large calendar magnets in the same order, look further down the initial page for this.

If you have a good browse around, from that link, you will find that there are also freebies on postcards, small magnets, rubber stamps, notepads, sticky notes, brochures, large magents, t-shirts and more. PLUS half-price offers on other things.

You MUST have an account with them to get these offers, but that's automatic when you order something.

BEWARE - do not sign up for their rewards scheme unless you think it will be of use to you. Make sure you un-tick any boxes that may result in you paying a monthly subscription. You do not have to join these schemes to get the offers.

Printing and despatch is still from Belgium, just as with the UK site. You WILL get emails from them, I get 3-4 a week, but they are usually good offers or freebies - you can unsubscribe from the mailing list if you don't want these.

I run a community group and most of what I order is for there, we've lods of good quality printed items in our office now and all for peanuts. People love the new 2008 magnet calendars we got, and I've half a dozen rubber stamps for the group office that would have cost 10 times the price if bought locally.

Yes, you do have to pay postage costs + tax, but if you don't feel it's worthwhile then simply don't order.
