Change now or at end of January?
My dual fuel contract ends 31/1/17 and I think opinion is that prices will rise. My supplier has introduced a fix to June 18. I have worked out that by changing now I’d be down £50, but only £20 this time next year.
Do I wait and risk the new contract’s withdrawal before January and a worse one in its place, or accept the estimated loss of £40 in January 17?
What do you think?
Kindly note that the supplier is not in issue, nor consideration of new entrants to the market, who may be cheaper, but with unestablished service and financial history.

This is you deciding what you believe will happen in the future .
Contract still in place in 3 months time unlikely .
Prices to rise within the next three months probable .
My gas is locked but will face the same dilemma if my unlocked electric rises .
I am with one of your unestablished service and financial history suppliers . Who have not been fined huge amounts by the regulator .0
