This is the point. There is abuse from both sides but the organised abuse and hate is being whipped up by the right wing gutter press and right wing fringe parties. Look at the way Gina Miller has been vilified; she has been told she will be 'gang raped' and 'beheaded'; look at the way the faces of the Judges were plastered on the pages of the Daily Fail and described as enemies of the people. What the woman on Question Time said was nothing in comparison. I think action should be taken against the Daily Mail for contempt!
do you think the people calling for Gina to be gang raped should be prosecuted or even named and shamed
and should it matter if these people are scum no hopers or if they are doing worthwhile jobs?0 -
She was wrong.
Wishing ill on brexiteers' children is wrong.
Being a brexiteer's child is already enough of a cross to bear.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

presumably you would take brexiters children away from them for childs own good. Plenty of 'legal' precedents for that.0 -
this whole them and us thing has got to stop, its pathetic
It really goes to show that despite how clever you think you are, how racist you think others are, what your referendum vote was, the majority of people in this country were not ready to have such a thing thrust upon them, and those that offered it did not prepare them for it adequately
Its not about who won or lost, or whos right or wrong, we were given a vote, the majority went in favour of an option, we need to now see it works out best for the country
If fundings cut, its cut, increase efficiency, the NHS is wasteful across the board anyway. Cutting funding might actually make NHS managers do something for once0 -

I think you'll find a huge number more extremists on the Leave side. You only need to see the comments on the DM about the judgement including their own front page to see that.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
I think she should have been more circumspect and not brought her role into it. A lack of judgment however, does not give people the right to threaten her.0

Stupid woman makes the news story then.
In the days of the printed press, this would be tomorrow's chip paper.
We won't care what she says; what she thinks; what her job is; in a few weeks.0 -
I heard it at the time and winced but it's not like she's some sort on commentator, journo or politician just another member of the public saying something stupid.
Never attribute to malice that which can adequately be explained by stupidity.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0
