Exactly, two wrongs don't make a right. Quite clearly neither side is comprised completely of angels.0

Well, one side has picked up the BNP, National Front, Britain First, and UKIP vote en masse so I suppose you are right.
I mean that's basically how I make my political decisions. I just think - what would Nick Griffin do in this situation? And try and act accordingly.0 -
If a woman who dedicates her life to making sick kids better says something nasty on one occasion (and naturally regrets it and apologises) and a journalist presents it as a soundbite for the delight and delectation of all and sundry, do we discount the lives saved, the comfort bestowed, the increase in quality of life?
It's a lapse of judgement by someone who should know better, exploited for cheap entertainment thrills by someone who pleases us in baser ways, and who doesn't care to know better.
In other words it's a storm in a teacup. You can get all worked up about it if you like, and that's got real entertainment value. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Should she be sacked ? Surely saying something like that and disclosing where she is employed is seriously unprofessional and should not go unpunished. Stupid woman.

I find it quite incredulous that someone who is a first hand witness to the pain and suffering of innocent children would even allow such thought to come into her head, let alone say it.0 -

This is the point. There is abuse from both sides but the organised abuse and hate is being whipped up by the right wing gutter press and right wing fringe parties. Look at the way Gina Miller has been vilified; she has been told she will be 'gang raped' and 'beheaded'; look at the way the faces of the Judges were plastered on the pages of the Daily Fail and described as enemies of the people. What the woman on Question Time said was nothing in comparison. I think action should be taken against the Daily Mail for contempt!0 -
Does no-one else think she was making a point and didn't actually mean she wanted suffering?0
