Old PC win7 to new PC win10?

I use an old desktop running win7. Browser Firefox with thunderbird for emails.
I'm getting a refurb desktop running windows 10,is there an easy way to transfer the emails & all my files onto the "new"PC?
Needs to be easy as I'm not "techie"

Yes firefox has an export feature for doing just this.

Assuming you'll be using Thunderbird on the WIn 10 PC then you'll need to copy your profile over I'd imagine.

Would it be easier for me to upgrade my old pc(win7) to windows 10 then migrate everything over to the new pc(win 10)?
Downgrade new pc to win7 or can I just put the old hard drive into the new pc.
Sorry if it's a bit long winded but I've been out of touch with technonothings.
