Our local hospital has handed over "management" of parking to PE and I've discovered that all the income from PCNs issued go to PE and the hospital has no details of the number of PCNs that PE dish out.
Is this usual or should the hospital have details of how many PCNs PE issue?

From the document above what does this mean:-Contracts should not be let on any basis that incentivises additional charges, eg ‘income from parking charge notices only’.
If you break the rules in our hospital PE sends out PCNs for £70 (reduced on early payment)0

            Which hospital
Ask for the PE Contract under Freedom of Information
Ask very specifically if the deal is the only for revenue that PE gets is from the PCN's
The follow up question,is, about allowing PE having the land owners permission so as to take someone to court
The ultimate land owner is the public.
Under what authority has such power been divested to PE
Within the request ask if they have used the standard NHS contract Provision of goods & services.
If they have not used the standard NHS contract on whose authority has a non standard NHS contract been used
Again, if a non NHS contract has been used what assurances has the Trust received from PE regarding patient confidentiality in line with DoH Policy - by the way the answer is nonePrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA 0 0

But the NHS Trusts do not care...
How true this is; at the hospital my wife works at they have UKPC as the PPC.
Up to 4PM they had an NHS guy patrolling the car park, and UKPC took over after that time.
The NHS man would help you find a place, advise you where you could and couldn't park, help people carry large items, and only gave out PCN's as a last resort.
He was told to stop helping people by his boss and just issue tickets, being a decent bloke he resigned!!
That's our caring NHS management for you!0

If that's how they commission parking, it makes you wonder how they commission health.Illegitimi non carborundum:)0
