I'd like to think APCOA got the sack with some prejudice but it looks like they remain the operator of at least two other eyewateringly expensive carparks at the airport, so their income stream remains good.
However these are barriered/pay on exit places where the chances of needing to use fake fines are slim.
Aberdeen International Airport will withdraw its £60 parking fines for drivers who stay too long in the drop-off area from today.
Drivers who stay in the designated drop-off area beyond the maximum duration of 15 minutes had been charged with a £60 parking fine.

I bet none of the money gouged by APCOA went anywhere near the above!The money raised goes directly towards attracting new routes from the airport as well as sustaining existing ones.
Much of it is also put towards their Community Fund, which supports numerous community projects in the area.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Dunno what the relationship between Aberdeen Airport and APCOA is exactly but posts on two threads by an airport "manager," spamming on APCOA's behalf were removed from these very forums in the last year or so.0 -

Was the drop-off area free for 15 minutes with invoices afterwards?
A look at the Aberdeen airport website now suggests a fee to use the "express drop-off" with additional charges if you spend longer than 15 minutes (£10 for 16 minutes to 30 minutes, £30 for 31 minutes to an hour)?0 -
No, it was a pound a pop from introduction with tickets for going beyond time/driving off then they put it up to two pounds a few months ago.
The drop-off charge has been highly unpopular since introduction.0
