0.002 inches for every inch of piston diameter.

yes , is that info for a 2 stroke and is it for a cast or forged piston ?
the figure there is the direct opposite if a figure quoted by Kawasaki , for a enuine piston back in 1977 , they state 0.025-0.035mm , the 2 thou per inch would give something like 0.1016 mm which is 4 times the original figure
the reason for retracting my question was that I realised people would just google an answer , which in a lot of cases would not refer to a 2 stroke of this era
over the last 20 yrs , tollerances on new vehicles have tightened up , this bike is 40 yrs old with an aftermarket pistonSave a Rachael
