This subject was petitioned last year (after reaching 100K signatures) and debated - then turned down.

Unless there is a concerted and coordinated push to change i doubt our elected officials will choose upset the status quo.

How about a petition to ban the sale of pets to members of the public?

No more dogs hit in the streets, or dogs eating children, cats killing 60 million birds a year etc etc.....

So why don't you start your own petition?

If you don't agree with what the petition is proposing, don't sign.
It's no big deal.
