Hi
Our Epson printer/scanner/copier keeps giving us problems.
It is connected wirelessly.
Printing works fine
But scanning plays up every other day.It says PC cannot communicate with the scanner.
When we try to re-install it-it says channel on which our home wi-fi works does not allow scanner to work properly.
When I used a wifi analyser app-I found there are 2 channels for our home wifi.I was wondering if my scanner and rest of the devices at home are on two different channels.
any idea what needs to be done? And how to go about repairing it?

Choose a wifi channel thats less congested/ no other devices on a channel, see what happens then.
Is the router offrr a 5Ghz connection ? Maybe this is why you are seeing 2 channels on the app.
You pick a channel on the router not on the device itself.0 -
If wi-fi is truly problematical, you really can't beat an ethernet (wired) connection.
Simple AND cheap.0
