Most bus companies also have weekly or monthly passes that work out cheaper than daily tickets0

It would be two and a bit hours on a bus, and the route that runs from my town is a bit unreliable sorry to Bristol.0

Have you tried looking on a lift/car sharing website? I live in Bristol and used a car sharing scheme when I didn't have a car for 6 months. I only had to pay the lady £5 a week for petrol and she lived in the next road from me. You may be surprised at how many people will be driving the same route as you every day and have space in their car.
My husband drives from Bristol to Bath every day and sometimes car shares. Definetely worth looking into. Also if you can't find your route you can register that you want a lift. Good luck in your new job.0 -
As I mentioned on the other thread, I'm waiting to hear from the agency but not heard a thing. They're open over the weekend, so I'll give them a ring as they may be willing to wait.0
