although we hear about the odd Gladstone !!!! up , the worrying thing is that if you click on the daily court listings http://www.bmpa.eu/court.html some days its upto 90% Gladstone orientated , + I wonder how many more have been given default CCJs either thru failing to act properly ofr by changing address , the number of setasides is rising again - mainly ones that gladstones were involved in Mrs May and her mob have not listened to the complaints , nor the SRA

whereas the cases via PE were a set figure (£100 + £50 + £25) the gladstones cases (reported on here) all seem to exceed £250 .

so much for POFa , its not worked has it?

The SRA are well known to have a tortoise like attitude.
Mrs May could well get that reputation.

I assume pappa you have sent your letter to Mrs May and the SRA.

For those who have not had a reply that is suitable then stage 2 is to show your disgust as you are being treated in contempt.

Mrs May by the way is already showing her weakness as being PM

not only have I sent those letters , I have had long discussions with the SRA , mainly regarding swarts , who although sanctioned , the SRA cannot implement.
as of 31/10 Mr Swarts licence was up and is being manually reviewed. he has ask permission to work for CEL , and is not allowed to do so until permission is granted (it has not) but he is doing it and going against the wishes of the SRA .

I get the opinion they are not happy , but their hands are tied.

swarts will go , and they will hire another solicitor that is due for retirement and needs his pension topping up ,

their hands are tied because although they can issue sanctions , they cannot (legally) as the SRA implement them , that is down to The SDT (solisitors disiplinetary trimunal? ?? , also CEL do not come under their authority

Mr swarts could in theory start working for ISIS tomorrow and they cannot do anything

Then the SRA are clearly a defunct authority in line with the now defunct ISPA set up by the BPA

post above now edited , had to go and read emails , I get the impression , via phone calls and emails that its down to The SDT solisitors disiplinetary trimunal to act on sanctions by the SRA .

OK .... currently there are 3 bad boys plus your favourite Swartz.

BWLegal .... Gladstones .... Wright Hassall.

They will not be missed by the SRA but it will reduce all the complaints they get ..... that has to be a result

The SRA must prove their own crediblity

I do not think that the SRA has to prove anything. They may not act quickly, after all they are solicitors, and every "i" must be dotted, and every "t" crossed, but they will get there in the end. Just have patience..
