I guess the first three words in the thread title may give you a clue to the answer to your question...

Once you have exchanged maybe your bank will be more accommodating AC. Hope it happens today for you.

Certainly a will is one way to get money, but you may need to take some drastic action to get it.

Storage costs aren't as bad as you think, much less then trying to find a months rent/deposit. I was paying £80 a month to store all the stuff out of a one bed flat, although I didn't put my white goods in as I sold those. But it was 2 sofas, bed/bedroom furniture, bookshelves and all the contents etc. I had to pay a deposit when I booked, but that was used for the first months storage, and then after that they would bill me at the start of every month, so you'll have your money from the sale by the time the next payment is due. My storage place actually offered quite a cheap removals service too, as long as you did all the packing..

Anyone who runs a small business knows: it takes money to make money.

That makes access to working capital essential—whether you’re just starting out or have big plans to expand your existing business.

In fact, just about every business needs extra working capital from time to time. When that’s the case, a short-term loan might be the best option.

    For example…

that can be the case.. but it's completely against the terms of being on a dmp. So if for whatever reason the sale didn't complete or it was late, the last thing they need is to get kicked off their dmp.

  • I've been on a roller coaster ride of late, and forgot about this thread.
    Here's an update : Nationwide said no x3 .
Managed to get cash from a family member.
I have learned the hard way, as have many others.
Unless. I'm missing something, the computer not only said no, but screamed no, when it saw the word Payplan .

I assume, I may have got help if I was not on a dmp.
Having said that , nobody in branches or on the phone would tell me why.
So, in the end I got out of the muddle that was my fault entirely.
Thanks to one of my brothers :)

Thanks for all the help and advice :)

Put your stuff in storage / leave with a friend and go on a cheap holiday till the money comes?! Sometimes winter deals work out cheaper than staying home.

I don't think you read all the thread. The OP sorted everything out by borrowing from his brother.
