On a dmp. Can I get a short term loan, till the end of the month??

Howdy! Sold my flat , as of tomorrow . Will pay off everything and be debt free.
Problem is, I need cash to find deposit/ 1st months money for rent and removal costs.(£2-2,500 max).
I have less than 2 weeks to find everything.
Will have a lot of cash paid into my account on the 18th Nov or 21/22
depending I speed of transaction.
Basically, I need a short term loan , wihout Payplan finding out .

Could anyone point me in the right direction ?

Thanks

Not unless it's a lender who tends to break legs when you don't pay.
  • Thanks Zx :)
I didn't think it would be so bad.

Why not rent a room for a period for you to save the amount needed.

    Hi there,

This can be a tricky situation for a few people. As it is such a short term problem have you considered whether you could stay with friends or family for a few nights? Or even find a very cheap B & B (or equivalent), just to tide you over rather than taking out a loan? Good luck,

Thanks Laura . So annoying . Maybe I could put a deposit down on ab&b. Putting my belongings in storage ,/ removal will cost .
The annnoying thing is I wil be debt free before the end of the month. Would prefer a payday loan TBH :(
  • Do not do a payday loan AC. You will not have to pay storage removal costs until you collect your goods although they may ask for deposit. You could perhaps stay with your brother or cheap b and b just until you get the money from your sale. Ask your solicitor to Telegraphic Transfer net proceeds immediately rather than send a cheque. We have had completion monies on day of completion before when we sold a btl flat we had. There will be fee but not much and then you will have the money in your account same day. You can just reserve a room for one night to keep costs down and sort it out following day. Have you not been saving since putting flat up for sale?

I guess the first three words in the thread title may give you a clue to the answer to your question...
  • Hellooo enthusiastic. No , haven't been able to save anything.:(
When I moved into my present property, it was all done by electronic transfer. Same solicitor , so should be same result .

B&b looks like the way to go.

    Lots to think about

    Thanks :)
