HSBC Credir Card payment help

Hi, I am hoping someone can help because I have looked everywhere on the online account and can not see how to make a payment towards my HSBC credit card.

I do not have a current account with HSBC, only the CC, but I assumed I could just log on and make a debit card payment, but I don't see this as an option. Am I missing something?

Can anyone offer any advice.

Thanks.

Looks like I need to go in to branch. I find it incredibly strange that they wouldn't allow you to make a card payment online. Oh well.

Pay it from your own current account through your online banking.

    As PW said.

I don't have an HSBC credit card, so can't see the online payment screen myself. But the below link states it is possible to pay by debit card.

But as ZX and PW have suggested. Just pay via online banking from your current account.

The HSBC details for how to make a payment are on the statement. Set this up on you online banking for your own bank. Do it quickly to make sure you don't miss the payment deadline.

I have an HSBC Visa card registered online so I just looked at it, and I must admit I can't see any way to pay except by using a current account, which I don't have either. Maybe there is something somewhere but I can't see it - it's the messiest layout of any bank/building site I've seen.

Even the Help pages - How do I pay my credit card?" only tell you how to pay from HSBC current accounts.

Anyway, I pay (online) from my Nationwide account. It's very easy. Whatever current account you have I'm sure you won't find it a problem.

Look on the statement, it will provide an account number and sort code, depending on which card you have. The reference will be your 16-digit card number. Just send the payment from your current account.

I had this issue when I took out a HSBC card a few months ago. As a couple of people have already suggested I have set up 'HSBC' as a payee on my online banking. The account number and sort code you need to send your payment to are noted on the statement. The payment reference should be your 16 digit card number if I remember correctly.
