I am experiencing the same thing. 2 years later after two payouts of which they got their amount they are hounding me stating i must pay 10 for each claim (4 claims in total) and respond immediately. i received a letter which i didnt respond to before Christmas and now today an email and text message. Please let me know how to go on. My head says they dont have a leg to stand on but i suffer bad anxiety and this is making me panic
  • I have also received a letter asking for new LOA to be signed, this is two years after I received compensation and my other claims were closed. I am going to write back to the pointing out that I considered the contract over once all my claims had been paid out or closed, there was never a mention of second attempts on these claims. I will let you know how I get on

Remember that the ministry of justice themselves have said that the contract is considered over at that point.

The general position is that the agreement between
the CMC and the client will have concluded at the
point at which the client received redress and the
    CMC issuing the corresponding invoice.
If a CMC seeks further fees from clients where the
contract has concluded, this may be in breach of
General Rule 1 which requires you to conduct your
business with honesty and integrity. It may also be
considered an act of fraud by false representation
    (Section 2, Fraud Act 2006).

So, back in August 2014, the MoJ was telling claims companies that what they are doing is wrong and that they could be committing fraud. So, if a company is doing that in 2017, then it is fraud.

I put in a claim with Hidenda 6 months ago, they say the bank can't identify me despite me sending copy of loan agreement. They are now asking for copies including passport, bank and credit card statements, driving licence and BOTH sides of credit card. I feel that this is dodgy and am unwilling to send them but they say failure to do this is in breach of contract (clause 3.2) and I will be liable for their costs. Anyone else experienced this?

Contact the bank yourself and arrange copies direct with the bank.
