New school uniform

Hi my dd 15 and ds 11 school this week have told us there going to introduce a more practical uniform and get rid of the old uniform. The school had discussions last term with students parents teachers and govners. What's people's opinion?
New uniform
School jumper
School polo shirt
School trousers
School shoes or plain black lace up pumps no trainers boots heels or non black footwear
Old uniform
School blazer
School tie
School shirt
School trousers
School shoes no trainers pumps boots or heels

What possible help could the random people on here provide if the school has consulted with parents, students, teachers and governors, or are we going to have the deciding vote?

I think Ugg boots should be compulsory for winter wear, with stripper style sandals for the summer.
