Scottish Power Connect

Hi all.

Has anyone got, or had dealings with the above Smart Thermostat?

The house I just moved in to had a Siemens one but it's rather old and mostly says the temperature in the room is around 22 degrees when it's obviously nowhere near that, meaning you have to crank it up to 23+ for the heating to kick in.

Instead of trying to fix/replace the old one I've decided to modernise it a bit and get a new one. Seeing as I'm with Scottish Power anyway I've looked at the above and it seems to do everything I want it to and at quite a good price of £200 over 2 years.

I've also considered the BG Hive which is £250 outright but it doesn't look, at face value, like it's considerably better than the SP one.

Can anyone who has used either of these or knows about them give me some advice on what they're like?

Thanks.
