Parking Eye taking to court

Hello guys!! Hope you are well and I hope you can help me.

Firstly, my girlfriend received tickets from parking eye, and I told her to ignore them, which i was wrong to do!! They sent letters through the post and my girlfriend ended up sending them a letter back defending herself. Cause she didn't get out of the car. She just parked cause she felt sick. Long story short, they are taking us to court. But I noticed they put a wrong date! The date has passed!! Can this change anything? Cause I really don't want her to get a CCJ! Cause I'm to blame for telling her to ignore it!!

Thank you for your time!
Kind regards,
ALEX13

She can't get a CCJ unless she loses in court and doesn't pay the costs.

Did she appeal as keeper or driver?

How long did she stay in the car park?

What is the issue with the date please?

The regulars are going to need more information to help you/her, but you should start by reading the Bargepole link to the court process. The link is in post one of the Sticky thread for NEWBIES by an expert poster called Bargepole.
The NEWBIES is everyone's one stop shop on how to beat these parking scams and had you found it, would have known not to ignore it.
That advice has been wrong since the law changed in 2012.

You can also buy a guide to court for a few quid from the Parking-Prankster's blogspot.
