Get rid of Capital One credit card?

Hi all,
So I have just received my new HSBC credit card with a £5,500 limit, to my surprise as my only other card currently is Capital One at £200
It's been a long 6 years of clearing stuff off my report but I finally got there, the HSBC was my first app since so I am rather proud and happy that I stuck to it all this time.
Question is should I close the Capital One account, or will keeping both running have a positive affect on my credit score?

It's always useful to have at least one back up card.
Ignore your score, but a £200 limit won't concern any lenders. It also establishes longer term history.0 -
Hi mrcjevans
I have recently applied for a HSBC Credit Card online and received confirmation through the post a couple of days later to say I have been accepted and to send the agreements back etc.
Upon contacting HSBC they also said my credit limit was £5,500.00 - can you advise if this was a similar process to what you went through as I am keen to know and confirm that the application has been accepted and the card I will receive will have the aforementioned credit limit.
Thanks in advance.0
