Ukpc ccj

Dear all need some advice as i moved to a property where parking was managed by ukpc (permit holders only)i did not bought the permit as was told that i should not bother ukpc is a private company and they cannot do anything so i started parking my car there when i cannot find any space outside on road recieved some pcn's i gnored all of them letter from DRP as well but i kept ignoring and then all threatning letters stopped after two years i recieved a letter from marston groups that they have high court rit against the debt i owe to ukpc and i checked my credit file which shows i have ccj from preston county court in june my question is as i did not recieve any letter from court or solicitors from ukpc to attend the court can court still issue a ccj withour notifying me or can i challenge this ccj i already paid £150 to marston group as a first payment to buy some time as i do not want them to start knocking my door and keep increasing the bill.

    Why? Oh dear...

    You can set aside a CCJ by applying to the court and paying £255 so you can defend it. If you do that then the fact you have a set aside hearing ordered would be enough to send Marston's away, I believe.

    You could have then defended the claim as normal AND THE CCJ WOULD HAVE BEEN WIPED. As people are doing, like here, it's a chore but just a form from the court is needed:

    This is now unnecessarily complicated by virtue of your £150 payment, I hope you didn't sign anything admitting liability or promising further payments...Others may know whether your part payment stops you being able to set aside the CCJ, this is complicated and you should never have paid without getting advice first.

    I would go to the website:

    and ask them if you can still get a CCJ you didn't know about, set aside in the usual way, when you have paid £150 to Marston's under a High Court writ. I must admit I don't know but the bailff experts are there on BAO.
