Hi All, family and I are going to Cardiff this weekend for the rugby. As we are staying in the centre we want to park for a couple of days - has anyone any ideas best to place to park as the Travelodge doesn't have any parking and many of the NCP's are Full. Any ideas, please.

Is there no on street parking at all? I tend to avoid car parks, even in cities where the Council hates cars, like Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge etc. there is usually somewhere on street that's fine.
Must admit I don't know Cardiff though.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The last time I was in Cardiff was 2014 and I parked at the railway station; this is currently £10 per day.0

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I have sometimes found free parking in local residential streets using google street view as a guide, although it might involve some walking as this sort of parking is not normally totally central but in residential areas - just don't park anywhere that looks really sketchy!0

Just south of the city centre - all of less than a quarter of a mile - there is an area called Riverside. Plenty of on-street parking there, unlimited. Just avoid the "Residents Only" streets. If you go to the rugby ground, Millennium Stadium, and walk across the bridge over the river you're there.0

There are rows & rows of parking available by the city hall CF10 3ND which is pay & display & not too unreasonable. If you make it there early you should be good.Dwy galon, un dyhead,

Cardiff has a number of Park and Ride sites. They did allow overnight parking and are good value.
I always use them whenever I visit - far easier than trying to find parking in the centre which is limited and costs a fortune.0
