If you know anyone who is about to or has ordered a SEAT LEON FR 1.8 TSI manual with tech pack and convenience pack plus with performance alloys deal in this http://www.seat.co.uk/offers/motability/leon-family/leon-5dr.html?intcmp=motab:leon5d_mot:2nd Motability offer then your going to be bitterly disappointed.
There are no build dates for now or the future to build that spec model, I cannot say that the others in the range are the same, but it seems the 1.8 TSI manual Tech pack with 18" performance alloys and convenience pack plus in 2016 will never be built considering the new LEON FR range has launched and SEAT are taking orders for 2017 releases.
if you know anyone who has ordered one of these on motability scheme, I would suggest they get in touch with their dealership immediately for more info. SEAT UK has been sympathetic but unhelpful. The dealership I ordered from told me to order a Skoda instead! suffice to say that I wont be ordering any VAG group car from this experience any time soon.

Not sure what you expect them to do? You ordered a car at the end of its production run?
I would also expect that anyone looking that model or similar will be disappointed, not just motability customers0 -

I'd a similar problem when i ordered a 535d BMW some years ago. Even though the order was accepted some months previously, production finished so they could retool for the revised model.
Sadly, i think theres very little you can do, and i dont think either SEAT or motability are obliged to do anything either.0 -
"Performance alloys" ? Do they make the car go faster ?0

Most likely you would end up with the 2017 model when the run starts0

I think im right in saying the disabilty living allowance is reduced if they have a car. Still alot of cases of people getting cars and sticking a blue badge thinking they own any supermarket car park and enjoy thank you very much motoring0

I would doubt it. They will have made a number of cars available to Motability at a specific price. This will have been based on the current gen model, and may well have been done for SEAT to move the last of the current car stock.0
