buying a flat or house or stay renting

Hi Everyone
I am currently renting. I live in Wiltshire and I do not see house prices decreasing. SOB!
I am currently renting in Salisbury for £795.00 a month...CRY. Such a waste of money.

I have a decent deposit but on a single wage i can only afford 150,000. So I have 30,000 deposit and the rest as a mortgage. I am saving really hard as I am signed into a 12 month contract so I will have money to cover solicitors etc.

Here is my dilemma:
Buy a flat with a lease hold >100 YRS and hope it increases in value. I am put off buying a leasehold but ......
Stay renting and wait to see if the market crashes. wishful thinking.
Go for it next year and take advantage of low interest rates.
Move to somerset as its the only place I can buy a house for 150000. this will require moving to another hospital. I may like it in somerset who knows!

Give me your thoughts......
Eilis :money:

This, five minutes from major hospital, West Midlands.

It's not as pretty as Salisbury, but you can afford to buy a house.......
