Camera wont connect to laptop. any help please?

I'd simply do as suggested by earlier posters and take the card out of the camera and put it into the card reader that your computer is pretty likely to have.
Thank you. However, as I said before Im a complete technophobe. How do I know if my computer has a 'card reader'? Where do I look?
I can see people laughing and saying 'This person should not even have a computer'!!!! Id be saying it myself if it was someone else, lol0 -
They (it) are/is likely to be along the same edge as any front mounted USB ports.0

If you tell us exactly what computer it is (make and full model number) we can probably find out whether it has a card reader and where it is.
The slot itself will look something like the one on the far right of this picture (it may not have a cover on it, mine is just a hole, if it does have a cover you'll need to lever it off).
