Horizon Parking in Asda Wolverhampton

Hi all.
It would be great if any of you can give me some advice on this situation.
As a student in Wolves, I am not local. Due to convenience, I parked at Asda car park at the beginning of this year, when they had the pay and display ticket system. However, after the summer holidays with the max stay of 2 hours, I did not notice they had changed the system to a camera number plate recognition system.
The first week of uni, I had parked at their car park on 3 separate occasions within the week. 10 days after, I had received 3 consecutive letters of Parking Charge Notices, for the 3 occasions I had parked. First of all, sending my parking charges 10 days after they had issued them was unfair. It did not give me a heads up... Bear in mind, 10 days after, I had also parked there again for another 3 times the week after. So I had immediately worked out I was going to receive another 3... again, they were sent to me 10 days after the date I had parked...
I had received a total of 6 parking charge notices and totalling to £40 each if I pay within 28 days... 1 out of the 6 shows that I had only parked 1hr 52 mins. Clearly shows I did not exceed the 2 hours. What should I do? Also, the reason they had issued this notice is, "Failure to validate parking session" along with another notice, which makes it 2. The other 4 is, "exceeded maximum stay period (ANPR)".
Thanks for reading, would be extremely helpful with any thoughts. Massive stress for me right now

Firstly - stop parking there!
Secondly - surely you noticed that you no longer had a pay and display machine into which you deposited money?
You need to nip back and take some pictures of the signage for a start, to see if there are notifications anywhere that customer should have their parking validated in-store. That should start dealing with the first two, as if they don't have that clearly signed, then the fact you haven't exceeded the maximum stay time means there is no case to answer.
For the other four, you're going to have to rely on the standard appeal letter given in the **NEWBIES** thread.0 -
I had noticed the pay and display was gone, but as a first year driver, I am still new to all this. I have stopped parking there now. I'm just unsure how to deal with all of these notices as I have 6... and 2 out of the 6 have a different issue reason.0
