TSB Switching Incentive - New Users Only?

Options
Hi There,

I see the new TSB switching incentive has arrived(presumably to hoover up as many disgruntled Santander 123 account holders as possible)
Does anyone know if the switch incentive is purely for new users?(I have a classic plus account for the interest already) - reading the T's and C's it could be interpreted either way - I could follow the switch link and try, but I don't really want to lose my donor account on the off chance - maybe since it's a MSE and MSM blagged incentive perhaps someone here may know?

Thankies :)

The T&Cs (of both the account and the switching offer itself) say you can only hold one Classic Plus account in your sole name. Presumably their systems will decline your application, before you've even had chance to initiate a switch and risk a donor account? Could you try it and see. ;)
  • Well you can initiate a switch without applying(what i'd planned to do)

Really? You may not have understood what you've read.

From the particulars on this site...

Anyone know if it would be possible to switch away a sole tsb classic plus and once it's been closed do another switch to open a new classic plus for the incentive.I did not receive the previous incentive.

According to the terms at http://www.tsb.co.uk/cashback-money-supermarket-termsandconditions.pdf - yes, you would qualify, but unsure if TSB would auth a new account after having closed one recently.
