Hello!
In this post I will keep track of my savings and investments, and I would love to receive your tips and feedback.
I am from Barcelona, Spain, I'm 24 years old. I am studying social work, and I work as a waiter in a restaurant in Barcelona. I live with parents and save everything I can, but also help at home.
If any of you have doubts of any kind, feel free to reply or contact me. I really love to help.

Almost 3 months have passed.
I managed to keep adding 20€ a day, plus an extra amount thanks to an excess of work in my workplace.
A new year began. My job contract ends in the mid of this year, so I don't know what will be since that.
Anyway, I will add 20€ more a day until that day comes, that's more or less 5 months.
My progress so far:
Savings account: 31,31€
Investments account: 17.885,32€0 -
That's a great rate of achievement Carles.:T
Will it be easy to get another job in summer with all the tourists about?0 -
Thank you for your reply!
I hope so.
Unemployment in Spain is really high and getting a job is not something easy. Hopefully I will find another job, otherwise I will have to dip into my savings if I want to continue studying my social work degree.0 -
I hope you can Carles, it would be a real shame if you had to suspend your studies.:(0

Good luck Carles. This is a bad time in Spain economy wise. Sometimes one goes through difficult times but remember life will get better eventually as we live for a long time. The economy will improve, in the mean time you continue to stay positive you are doing well investing in your future, working, getting a good cv and saving too. Stay strong you are doing everything right!!!!!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Thank you for your answer. Fortunately, studying in Spain is free even for university, goverment gives you scholarship in case you are below the average, which is my case. Sometimes it doesn't fulfill all expenses but it is cheap anyway.0 -

Thank you for your support! I think wherever you live and whatever your context is, you can always invest. It is true that quantity is key, but small amounts add up over time to a big amount. Sure we all have good an bad times, but you should save as much as you can in both bad and good times.
Again thank you!!!0 -
Well done Charles :T. Times are not easy, but you are doing just great

Hey there!
I'm comming with news.
After almost 2 months I managed to save 1.400€, and meanwhile my investments grew by 1.466€ more all by themselves, that makes 2.866€ in total. My boss said I will keep my job for as long as I want and increased my schedule, so increased my income too (it is still a low income, remember that I'm just a waiter). I can't explain how excited I feel, seeing that my investments start to move like a snowball down the hill. I have some companies in focus and as soon as I see their stock fall I plan to buy stocks with all the money in my savings account. After all, I'm just starting and I want to see the stock market fall, so I have the chance to buy cheaper stocks.0 -

That's true, times are not easy. To achieve my goals I have to have an extremely frugal lifestyle (I really mean it). My income is below the average in my country and I have a non-skilled job at the moment, because there is no choice in Spain as unemployment is still a true shame. I think there is no income that is not enough to save something, it is about lifestyle, I think when you just enter the labor market is the key moment to save good percentages, because you always lived without money and you are used to it.0
