Traffic scenarios
Within the past week I have done the following:
1) Approach traffic lights and see a green light so carry on. Then realize that the green light is for traffic travelling out of a supermarket so stop (just after going over the line). I believe me entire vehicle crossed the line.
2) Busy city centre caused me to stop on a pedestrian crossing. Traffic continued so I started to move. Lady in wheelchair started to cross road and looked angry. After looking on my mirror I realize it is because the pedestrian light is on green. Perhaps I should of stopped before the pedestrian crossing even though the traffic lights were on green? This would of stopped others from crossing the road.
Am I likely to be penalised for any of these incidents?

How would we know? Were there cameras on either of these lights?
With the second one, you shouldn't really head into the crossing if there isn't room for your car on the other side. Shame you're more bothered about whether you'll get in trouble than your lack of attention to what is going on around.0 -
Yes, points and a fine.
You really need to think and plan ahead whilst you are driving, if you don't then you will be be punished in some way.0 -

So you went through a red because you wasn't paying attention to the correct traffic lights ?
2-
Parked on a crossing creating an obstacle when people started crossing ?
Fair play I suppose not many people have the balls to admit publicly they are poor drivers0 -
Worse than poor, a danger to themselves and others!0

1. It is an offence if ANY part of the vehicle crosses the stop line on red.
2. Also an offence.0
