"At home" would not be considered a "permitted place" to mature whisky under current legislation - and as a distilled spirit, I doubt rum would be legal either. Wine, probably ok.

There are also rather strict conditions on age/maturing-related statements which need to be complied with.

Along with the conditions for journalists, you would be well advised to look at the rules for promoting illegal activities on this forum!
