Anker Battery Pack

Hi all,
I bought an Anker mobile phone battery pack not too long ago but I seem to have misplaced the short wire connector that came with it.
Does anyone know where I could buy one from? I've tried looking on Amazon and eBay but they seem to have the huge massive 3ft long wires. I was more interested in the smaller version as they charge the mobile phone a lot faster.
Please could someone advise.
Many thanks,

a search for "short micro USB cable" on Ebay or Amazon brought up a few.
Some of the very cheaply made ones have very thin wires inside and give a slow charge despite the length. So do check the reviews if you can.
I bought a multi pack of Anker`s own cables last year which included a couple of short ones and found them to be very good quality.

This kind of thing? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Xillie-2-0-Micro-USB-Cable-High-Speed-Shielded/dp/B013G4EAEI/
There's all sorts for different prices.. this one looks funky and cheap - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01HHFYQPU/ref=pd_sim_23_19?
Why on earth do you think shorter wires charge stuff quicker!0 -

Because I have tried using the Anker Battery Pack with my normal Samsung cable (the one that comes with the fast charger) and it takes forever and a day. The smaller official one charges it very fast.0 -
It's less a case of length, and more quality. I've got a 10m cable that will charge just as quickly as a 10cm one. My LG G3 is exceptionally fussy when it comes to the wire and charger I use.
These have proved really great - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00YAF14QK
BUT.. I'll agree that a short cable is really handy when charging from a portable pack and you are out and about.0 -
Have ordered from eBay. I was looking for the wrong thing. I searched for what BASILL said and they all popped up.
Thanks for all your advice. I appreciate it.0 -
If its same wire as the 20100 you can use any USB micro cable with it0

It's about the electrical resistance, some phones measure the resistance between the data wires (white+green) to determine the length of the cable and reduce the charge rate accordingly. Others measure the voltage drop at the phone end and set the rate accordingly.
Also, if a phone can charge at 1000mA @5v, that's works out to an internal resistance of 5 ohms (using ohms law).
Now combine that with a lead that is long enough to have a 5ohm resistance and what you have is 5+5=10ohm and a maximum charge rate of 500mA.
So yes, the longer the lead, the slower the charge IF the leads are of equal quality.
This resistance is why you need USB repeater cables for lengths longer than 5m.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I always gather up the slack in a cable and use an elastic band , that shortens the cable!Save a Rachael
