If your phone is rooted, why not follow the advice in Solitaire's post?0

I don't know how or what software to have on pc if it is rooted - I didn't root it. Once you switch phone on and have wifi on launcher loading starts and apps start to appear. No chance to download anything from play store or to stop apps downloading.0

Was it bought new or second hand ?0

New from Tesco Mobile , 1 staff member put sim in phone and set it up for me whilst I paid for the phone with another staff member so I never saw if sticker on box was intact before she did it. I'm now thinking it could of been a customer return, can't prove it.0

Simply put a stock ROM back on your phone and all your problems will go away ..
